Getting Back On Depo

The Postpartum forum looks a little slow so I thought this might be a good place to ask. I was on depo for 2 years and have been off 2 years. I know it's reccomended you not use it for more than 2 years because of concerns about bone loss......does that mean you shouldn't use it more than 2 years over your entire lifespan? Or you shouldn't use it for more than 2 years at a time? I'd like to get back on it if it's considered safe after having a break inbetween use.

I don't know, you should maybe ask your Dr. I had a bad experience with depo and I don't reccomend anyone take it. But if you had no issues with it for the 2 years you were on it then I don't see why you couldn't try it again. I had horrible mood swings, weigth gain, and I spotted constantly. I only used it for 6 months and it took a long time to get a regular cycyle again.
