Does anyone give their LO's goat's milk instaed of cow's milk? Is there any difference?

It is supposed to be more like human b___stmilk. The only problem is the taste. I tried to wean my dd onto this from b___stmilk and she hated it. She would drink cow's milk with no problem however.

From what I remember, goat's milk has a different type of protein in it that cow's milk does, and often that protein in cow's milk is what babies can be allergic to. I was raised on goat's milk and I honestly thought it tasted fine, but now that I'm older, it does have a stronger taste to it. I still drink it and plan on having my dd drink it as well.

I put my oldest on it when I was finally able to get him to take a bottle. We have a store near us that sells it pasteurized. I never tasted it, but ds liked it, but only warm.

when I was a baby I had alergies towards cows milk so my mom gave me goats milk as well as my brother too I think it is easier on a baby's system the only drawback is that I really don't drink plain cow's milk and never have I don't like the taste I can do chocolate and it's fine...

I've heard it's good, but my Papaw had goats when I was growing up....they were so nasty. I can't imagine drinking their milk. I know cows probably aren't a cleaner animal, but I've never seen a cow do some of the things I seen those goats do! The a__sociation is just too strong for me to even think about it!
