Hey girls, wow we have been naughty and not caught up for ages. Well anyway - I fel guilty and girls I need you so much now, I am going through h__l with George's teething, honestly I have written a separate post about it as I'm at my wits end. anyway George currently weighs 18lb 7oz, he was 8 months old last Thursday, unfortunately they didn't measure him so I have to do that at my next appointment. His 8 month appt was fine, he passed all his test. He is scooting across the floor on his bum, honestly I'm sure I'll have the laziest babies. he is on 3 meals a day and is on about 4/5 bottles. he still wakes once in the night at around 2am but I don't mind. Anyway hope you are all well, please catch up soon.

oh yes, we have been slacking!!! lindsey--honesly, when lexi was teething, she was cranky for like 1 day (the day i noticed the teeny-tiny white lines cutting through) and after they broke, she was fine. i know that isn't helping since you are having such a rough time with it, but i am not much help. i never had much trouble with carter, either. SORRY! i haven't read your other post yet, so i don't know what all you are trying/what the problem is(crankiness, not sleeping, etc.) most will tell you the same--tylenol( i forget what your equivalent is in the uk) , baby oragel( our gum nubming gel in the us) and cold teethers and/or ice cubs or frozen food in a mesh feeder. beyond that, everyone has to tough it out , i think. lexi doesn't go back to the ped until next month, but i suspect she is around 16.5/ 17 lbs.. she's so chubby but so tiny at the same time! she is army crawling EVERYWHERE and pulls herself up to stand against anything and everything she can! i'm a__suming this is her "crawling". i'm not sure she will ever take to "real" crawling since this is her means of motility and it works for her. oddly enough, she starts out on her hands and knees, always takes one step forward with her hand and foot, then slides down to her tummy and scoots right along, like a little inch worm. she grunts the whole time , it must be so exhausting, lol.she eats 3 meals a day and nurses sporatically, and STILL wakes anywhere from 1-4 times a night. i swear she was perpetually attached to my b___b the other night. i love b___stfeeding, but man will i be happy to have my body back to myself once i wean her in a few months! we have progressed to stage 3 & toddler foods( mini raviolis and such--i just mash them up well, and she handles that consistancy fine.) hey, what do you girls feed for breakfast?? i feel like i feed lex oatmeal & fruit puree every day! i did introduce scrambled egg yolks with no reaction, but i only like offering those once or twice a week at most. i thought about plain pancakes but i read the ingredients list and there is so much sugar and milk product in the mix--anyone else have an opinion about that? what do you give? i suppose she is content with the oatmeal, so no harm done, i just think it is fun to expand the little ones' food experiences! : ) let's see, what else...OH, rich had his vasectomy a few weeks ago, so no more babies for us unless we are the 1 in 1000 , i guess : ) i just hope if that's the case , it's before i'm 40..like WAY before i'm 40, haha! and i've lost 15 lbs so far this year...YAY! i still have a ways to go and who knows if i'll ever be happy , but i am at least pleased to see a drop in the number, even if it isn't really obvious just looking at me(although people i don't see everyday say they have noticed.) i'm focused, so i'll get there eventually! oh, and a really bad thing that happened--my jeep was broken into and my purse stolen from under my seat! :( what a sickening pain in the a__s that was! (i'm still really paranoid) ok, that's been my life in a nutshell, school is great, as always. we need to try harder and post more!!! (my excuse is i finally (and reluctantly) opened a myspace page and i have instantly reconnected with so many friends i had lost contact with... making my rounds on there is overwhelming!!!) but i will do better for my girls :) btw--my myspace is myspace.com/lindstarr --lindsey, don't you have one? it's just my page, i reserve piczo for carter and lexi(in the process of a way past due update) hope to hear from everyone soon!!

Lindsey - February 18

Yeah i have myspace, i'll request an add from you, we had a rough night last night but hey ho, you just gotta carry on. Sorry to hear about our break-in, it does unnerve you. How is Lexi around your puppy, i bet carter loves him to bits.

lindsay - February 19

lexi is quite intrigued by slater, she giggles when he comes near her. so far, he has been great with her and i expect he'll be protective of both kids. and yes, carter LOVES him! the 2 of them drive me nuts the way they tear around! btw, i swear i'll just keep bumping this until one of you posts, lol! i swear though, nothing stays on the 1st page for longer than a day anymore-- IC has so much traffic now!!!

Hey Lindsay, Where is everybody. I know Harmony was moving back home, but i'm not sure when that was. I haven't seen jenn or Misty post for ages, I wonder how Misty's pregnancy is going. George has porridge for breakfast, sometimes with fruit. he has veggies for lunch and then a stage 2 jar for dinner with a pudding after, I'm not ready for him to start stage 3 just yet, I would like him to have at least 1 tooth lol before i try it. I'll also keep bumping this post up until the others reply. I hope they'll be back soon. Ooh thanks for the myspace add

Lindsey - February 20
