You are having bladder spasms. Go see your doctor. They will give you a scrpt for Detrol LA and you will feel much better. If I get even a hint of a bladder infection, I will start having spasms. Look up "over-active bladder" for more info.

I could see it being from the delivery a month or two pp, but not 5 months. I'd go see a female family doctor or a urologist. I see a famale urologist every year or two and she is great!

From the detrol la website: "Overactive bladder (OAB) occurs when the bladder muscle is too active. This means that the muscle contracts, or squeezes, too often or when you don’t want it to. This can cause a strong, sudden urge to go even when the bladder isn't full. OAB can affect anyone, at any age. In many cases, an exact cause cannot be found. However, sometimes OAB can be caused by: Damage to bladder nerves or muscles. Sometimes damage to the nerves of the bladder, to the nervous system (spinal cord and brain), or to the muscles themselves can cause the bladder muscle to contract, or squeeze, when you don’t want it to. For example, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and injury can harm bladder nerves or muscles. Childbirth can also cause nerve damage that affects bladder control.
