Dani aka Kamries mommy - January 12

Ok. Kamrie is just about 4 1/2 months old now and already bored. How can she be bored, she has only been alive for not even 5 months!!!! We have tried everything, she has a jumperoo and exersaucer and plenty of gyms. All she ever wants is for me to hold her and make funny sounds and funny faces. I dont even have time to clean my house!! Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to entertain her? Also, I have another question, When I go to work my mother watches Kamrie for me and Kamrie absolutly adors her but the 2 times that I have tried to go out and do anything and have my mom keep her overnight she has stayed up half of the night screaming and nothing will calm her down so I always end up having to go get her. She does the same thing when her dad picks her up from my moms when he gets off of work before me. She cries the whole time until I get home. Is it too early for seperation anxiaty? Any advice will help!!! Sorry about the typos, I am trying to hold her and type at the same time but I sure you all know how that is!

haha omg...Tasia is 2 months and she doesn't want to do anything except be held! I am d__n lucky to have a shower everyday. And she doesn't sleep more than 5 minits at a time during the day. Sleeps good at night though. And I always have to sit at the computer and hold her at the same time! haha I really have no advice, just wanted you to know you are not alone. =)

Well, I have no suggestions becuase Kailey does the same thing! She is 3 and 1/2 months now. My sister has a one year old, and she says that it gets better once they start sitting up and/or crawling becuase they can entertain themselves better-I kinow we still have a ways to go! Kailey got a Baby Einstein DVD for Christmas and she actually likes it, so I occasionally will put her in her bouncer and she will watch the 30 minute dvd while I take a shower and do a quick clean up-I absolutely HATE doing that though so it happens rarely. Oh, the joys of motherhood right? :) Dani-around that time babies can start suffering separation anxieties and they just want thier mommy, so that could be why Kamrie is reacting that way. Just be glad that she loves her mommy so much. :)

Try putting her onto one of her gyms or in her saucer, and then sitting down next to her talking to her while she plays in it, and then just gradually move yourself further away from her. As for sleeping over at grandma's - try having your mom watch her at your house. That way, she'll be in her own space when it's time for bed.
