She was very colicky so we got a prescription for that and she's been on it for a month now (she's 12.5 weeks) last week the doc told us to start weening her off of it and she is getting bad again, so I am going to keep her on it for another 4 weeks, my husband was colicky until he was 4-5 months. Anyway, she is drooling alot and biting her blanket and hands. Is she teething. She'll sleep for 4 hours straight and then it seems like after 3 a.m. she doesn't want to go back to sleep. I am SOOOOOOOOOOO tired. I don't work, we'll I do 24-7 being a Mom and my husband works, but he doesn't help out at all. He's maybe fed her 1 in the past month AND he thinks all I do during the day is watch TV, HELP!!! I am so sad and frustrated!!!

I'm sorry you're going through that. It sounds very difficult. Rest a__sured that it will get better with time. Is she your first baby, or do you have other children that you have to look after as well? Where I live, there are all kind of groups for new moms so they can just get together and share their frustrations with each other. I've joined several of them and it's totally turned me around. I was quite overwhelmed and depressed for the first 6 weeks of my daughter's life, but since I've been getting out and meeting other moms with new babies, and also moms with toddlers who have been where I am, I feel so much better. Find out if there are any organized through your public health unit...if not, try meetup.com - they have all kinds of groups in cities across north america. You may be able to find a group there. Good luck.
