Help With Baby Fever

my two month old has his vacc yesterday and today i notice he have some fever,i tryed to give him calpol,but seens he doesn`t like it , and he spit it out, what ese i can do?any ideas?

Hi marimar, i guess that you are in the UK as you use calpol. I use nurofen, you only give it every 6 hours, it is ibroprofen (sp?) so has a better effect, if the fever lasts longer than 24hrs after his jabs then i would be inclined to take him to the doctor again.Also the nurofen comes with a syringe so you put it into his mouth towards the side and he can't spit it out.

if hes old enough u can give him a suppository in his rectum. makes things much easier
