Quick question and quck answer!!! It is night over here in Europe and my baby is sleeping. He threw up his dinner.. as he was eating it. It was so so terrible to see.!!!! I hugged and hugged him after that. I'll be going to the doctors' tomorrow to get him seen but I need one thing answered NOW. Since he threw up all his dinner he went to bed w/ an empty tummy. I am wondering what I should give him if he wakes up tonight. He's 9 months old and sleeps threw the night 8 to 8. But since he went to bed w/ an empty tummy I can imagine he might get hungry during the night. But w/ that poor sick tummy he has maybe I shouldnt give him anything for a while. What do I give? what should I do if he wakes up????

Aw, poor thing. It sounds like he's got that nasty stomach virus that's going round. If he does wake up and want to eat something, I'd give him only some juice diluted w/water and pedialyte. I wouldn't give any solids, just in case he throws up again. :o( Hope he starts to feel better soon.

oh I feel for you my ds just got over that nasty stomach virus he hardly ate for a couple of days and is still really not himself yet then me and dh got it I would say just try the liquids as much as you can but he most prolly will be throwing up alot that is what my ds did the only thing I could get him to keep down was some Sprite and that was a last resort but he is a year old so I figured it was better than nothing if this helps the virus is only about a 12hr thing with the throwing up good luck hope he feels better soon!!
