My son just had his 2-months appt. yesterday and came in at a whopping 16 lbs. 3 oz, and 24.5 inches long! He has 4 shots, poor boy, and has pretty much been grumpy or sleeping every since. He has also been a little feverish. Anyway, I just had to share this, and also ask if this reaction to immunizations was normal. My dd never had any issues.

Wow! Big boy! Yup, I'd say the reactions are VERY normal. Just keep an eye on that fever. You can give him a bit of Infant Tylenol if you think he's uncomfortable. Might take the edge off.

My oldest had the same reaction to his 2 months shots... it's normal, but unpleasant nonetheless! Wow... sounds like he's growing VERY well ;-)

My dd had the exact same reactions to her 2 month shots. My ds never had any reactions either. I would give some infant tylenol to help with the fever and the pain of the shots. Wow, it sounds as though he is growing well:-) Keep up the good work!

WOW!! My dd was almost as long, but was 11.5lbs, he is a big boy. I hate shots but they are better than the alternatives, I say some infant tylenol too.

Wowsers! My ds weighed in at 14 lbs. 4 oz and was 24 inches long at his 2 month appointment. He slept a lot after his 3 shots too and within a day or so was back to his normal adorable self.

my little girl had the same reaction and was fine after a few days. she was only 19 inches and 9lb when she had hers. I wish she was big.
