my ds used to have no problem going to bed, once he had his betime routine and then his bottl weeks now and for the pastfew weeks everynight i put him down, ( all routines are the same) he always wakes up 50 min laster ( that is his usual nap time 50 min max) sometimes i give him his soother and he goes right back to sleep and other times he fusses and cries and i end up giving him a few more oz's and he then falls back to sleep, and sometimes he again wakes about 30 min after that. he the has eaten 6oz in his first bottle and then up to another 4 in the 50 mn after. so up to 10 oz's before bed! yikes. how can i get him to know that it's not a nap it's bed!

maybe try having some light in his room when he takes his naps and pitch black when you put him down for bedtime.. that way he can see the difference.. if he wakes up after you put him down at bedtime and you feel that you need to go in there with him/feed him, when you do, keep the room dark.
