How Do I Introduce Fat In DD Diet

My DD is 14 months old.She is allergic to milk,wheat and egg white. Her diet is very restircited and ll I giver her is Soy milk, rice and veggies.I'm worried coz she had hardly put on weight in the past couple of months.She was 20 and half lbs at her 12 months doc's visit and still the same.I want to get her some fatty food and donno what to give.Please help.

Avocado is high in fat. You can get gluten-free breads...check the internet for ideas. oes she eat fruit?

Yes, she eats fruits.her fav is banana and apple.

Well, thats good. Personally I don't think 20.5lbs at 12 months is bad at all. That's a perfectly average weight, and especially good for a girl. The slow weight gain is completely normal during the 2nd year to because they are way more active and become pickly eaters. My ds1 was 7lbs at birth and 23lbs at 12 months. Now at almost 23 months he weighs just shy of 25lbs. I think you should give your doc a call and ask what fatty alternatives you could be offering her. Good luck!

I dont know much about allergies or there restrictions. Could you give her french fries (homemade), peanut b___ter (its good on apples and bannanas since she eats those)? Does she like meat of any kind?

Thankd for your comment on my DD weight DDT.coz people always keep telling me she looks underweight.they dont see shes active ans playfull. Jessb i think i should try peanut b___ter havent tried it yet.

meat, bannanas are supposed to be a pretty fatty one for sure!
