i was wondering everything i read says that a 4-5 month old starts to have less bottles a day, as they can go longer inbetween feeds as their tummy has grown and can hold more. what is your's average? My ds is 4.5 months and i started him on oatmeal cereal 2 weeks ago, i find in the morning he has had his last bottle at 5:30 am and it is now 10:55 am and he still doesn't want another one? he still drinks 40oz or so during a 24 hr peroid,s o i know in the end he is getting plenty but it is so new i didn't know if going that long was normal.

Good question. Ethan's that same age..he'll be five months on the 25th. He seems to be going longer and has increased his intake by an ounce or two each feeding. I haven't done cereal yet but will ask at his dr. appt Friday. I figure if he's happy I should be too?
