How Long Did You Use The Sleep Positioner

My ds is 4 1/2 months old & does not sleep in his bed very often (he prefers his swing). Last night I did put him in his crib for the first time in awhile & I used the sleep positioner as well. Just wondering how long you all used the sleep positioner with your lo's? (He can roll over if that makes any difference). Thanks!

I actually used mine on my ds until he was able to roll out of it. My dd is almost 4 months and I still use hers.

I bought one, but my doc told me not to use it because he said you want the baby to be able to move. He told us this at the hospital before we went home. Another waste of money for us.

I used it till ds was about 3mos. (I stopped once he started rolling).

My dd always slept on her side, right from birth.....she NEVER slept on her back. She was a bit of a spitter-upper, and I was nervous about her choking etc....Anyway, I used the sleep positioners with her right from the start, and they kept her snug on her side. Well, they just became part of the bedtime routine, and I think she felt very cozy and secure in her positioners. I was a bit afraid to take them out because she had always been kept pretty immobile in bed....although she managed to roll onto her back in the positioners eventually. Anyway, I figured that as long as she was sleeping happily (which she was) I would keep them in. I was actually worried that if I removed them, and she happened to roll onto her tummy.....she would wake up and freak.....because she had also NEVER once slept on her tummy. Finally, at 8 months, she began wiggling out of them in her sleep, so I took them out. ....and she did amazingly well. She loves sleeping on her tummy now!
