I Have A Vampire Baby

My little one has been having major problems with GERD lately (going back to the dr today, hopefully for meds this time) and also is in a growth spurt (I think). The last 3 days he has been up all night in pain and subsequently sleeping all day. I try to get him up, play with him, change him, etc. and he falls asleep through it!!! He is miserable when he is awake right now and I know he is exhausted! Any suggestions on gently flipping him, or should I just become nocturnal for the time being? Anyone been here, done this?

How old is he? If he's still pretty little, 4wks or less, he's probably just haivng a hard time adjusting to the "normal" schedule of sleeping at nighttime. If you live where it's warmer, you could try taking him for walks and getting out into the sunshine. You also could try and let him sleep for no longer than 1.5 hours per nap, and then wake him up. Also, I find it extremely helpful to have a nighttime/bedtime routine. Trevor gets dinner, playtime, bath, bottle(or b___b) and bed. Just w/in the past few weeks he's finally been sleeping through the night.

I would say don't sweat it for now really...it all comes with the GERD territory unfortunately. I bet in a couple weeks there will be a lot more sleeping go on in your house. =) Plus then you can know that pain isn't interfering with him getting on a schedule. And LOL at your Bueller, bueller...haha.
