We went for our two month checkup and mult_tude of shots today-Liam is 24 inches long and 14 lbs, 15 oz!!! No wonder he eats so much! He is 8 weeks, 4 days! Anyone else have giant growing babies? :)

haha... ill be suprized to see, but at her 1 month visit she was already 24 and 1/2 inches!!! 11lbs... we'll see tomorrow how big she is, but im guessing at least 15lbs... little porker... she doesnt really look chubby, she is just REALLY tall... already wears carter's size 6mos!!! would u ever consider giving a baby cereal mixed with the milk to make it more filling? my dd seems to starve, even after eating 6oz close to bedtime!

Haha, my fiances parents told me about the ol' rice cereal in the formula trick. I dont know if it would work for b___st milk, but I know alot of people do it. My daughter is only 2 weeks old but when she gets around 3 months if she wont sleep through the night I may give it a try. Nothing wrong with wanting to sleep a full night right?

not only for sleep, but she seems not to be able to be full... she usually only takes 4oz every 3-4 hours... at night she sleeps pretty well, but between 7 and 9 pm, she seems to just want to eat and eat and eat!

My baby has this issue now..wich is a little odd because she is so young. She will eat like 5-6 oz before she goes to sleep and then will sleep for 6-8 hours! (KNOCK ON WOOD!) But then she seems to want to eat ALL DAY! She will eat and then half an hour later she wants to eat again! I dont think it could hurt to give the rice cereal in her milk, however if you are b___st feeding it might start to decrease your milk supply.

Heck yeah I'm mixing cereal in with b___stmilk! As my pediatrician joked, its my only hope! LOL He is wearing mostly 6 month clothes as well, and they said he is actually longer than 24 inches, but he is still tight in his joints a bit, probably from being all crammed in there and being so tall at birth! I only give him the cereal mixture once or twice a day, but it seems to help and he likes it! My baby does the same thing, will sleep at night but eats all day. He usually will go 3-4 hours between, but there is always one point in the day where he eats everything I have and more. I am pumping like a madwoman to get and keep my supply up, but I think he is winning. :)

My son had an appt. at 5.5 weeks and he weighed 14 lbs. 2 oz. Now at 7 weeks he has almost outgrown some 3-6 month outfits. He has consistently been gaining a lb. a week, but he has been eating ans sleeping a lot lately, so I think he's having a growth spurt (not that he needs one). The boy has toe fat, back rolls, little man b___bs and cellulite! When my MIL held him today after not seeing him for a week she said he was a lot fatter. I'm guessing he'll be AT LEAST 17 lbs. by his 2 month check-up. I LOVE IT! My dd has always been a long, lean chica (usually 95th% for height, 45-50th% for weight), But this one is a rolly-polly fella. I have so many creases to clean at each diaper change.

at my boys 11 week appoiment (5 weeks adjusted age) they were 15lbs 6.5oz and 12lbs 2oz. so for their adjusted age theyre pretty big

as of my dd's 3 month check up she was 15lbs 5oz and 24 1/2 in long (95th and 90th percentile) and we are now approaching 4 mos next week and she has definetly grown a lot. She's a big girl, but not huge. My doctor says she's borderline too big. I hink she's perfect. She has the most adorable chubby little cheeks :-) here's some pics pictures.aol.com/galleries/shag1074

Mine was a biggie sized, too lol. He was 14 lbs. 2 oz. and 25" at 2 months, but since he was 10 lbs. 6 oz. and 22 3/4" at birth he actually hadn't gained that much or grown a whole lot for those 2 months! He's still pretty high on the height charts at 18 months (following his 6 ft. 2" daddy's footsteps!), but dropped in the weight %s now that he's running all around!

EricaLynn - January 19

Eclipse how old is your son? When did you start giving him the b___st milk and cereal? And how much, what kind of ratio do you use when you mix it?

ash2 - January 19

I have a big one too ! Aiden is 7 months and 23 pounds ! He is already eating table food ! BTW..is liam's real name william ? Reason i am asking is because i have a friend who has the same name.

Aw! I love seeing "chubby" babies. My little one is small....sorry. But I always say that they are not chubby....they are healthy!!!!

JenS - January 19

My ds was 14lbs, 14oz and 26 inches long at 2 months! Now he's almost 5 months and is 19lbs and 27 inches!
