I know he gets weak when he smells vanilla, he likes everything. I will have kiddie but when he goes to sleep.

if he likes vanilla, get some vanilla scented candles or some vanilla oil that you can burn. You could always get some vanilla body b___ter too ;o) run him a bath, and while he's in it make him his favourite meal, scatter some petals around, set the mood. Have a bottle of his favourite plonk/beer/juice on the table. Maybe bake him a cake or something? You could wrap up a framed photo of the 3 of you too for him to open if he's an old romantic.

Oh and while he's in the bath you could run and get changed into an ourfit you know he loves and put on a perfume you know he loves too? Or you could write little post it notes with wee notes, or clues as to whats instore for him.... I'm a big wuss as you can probably tell and love all that romantic stuff :o)

Last year I made a rhyming scavenger hunt for hubby. The prize was a very naughty coupon book and a note that said "come find me". I bought similar looking underwear to what I wore "the first time" and some fun adult things. Hehehe. While he was doing the scavengar hunt I decked myself out, lit every candle in the house, cracked out a bottle of wine and waited. Now I just wish I got the same attention, rater than the mandatory boquet and box of sweethearts.

I don't care what you wear as long as you'll run my bath, make my dinner, have my favorite drink, and bake me a cake. Heck if you'll do that for me I'll marry you....

OH! Reality just hit me, I am married! It was that kind of behavior that got me married! ;O}

hehehe thats how i proposed to my dh actually!! He came home from work to find the place almost alight with candles, cupcakes iced with "will you marry me" on them, a bottle of bubbly, some strawberries, a card i'd written a blooming essay inside, and little heart confetti and sweets scattered everywhere. *sniffle* and to think that was almost a year ago *sniffle sniffle*

Make a homeade coupon booklet , such as " free backrub"....." free s_x night " ...."free car wash"........" free night i take you out to eat "....blah, blah, blah.....also, last year, i bought some car paint from walmart and painted " i love you " all over his car, and he had to drive with it all over his car all day long : )

For those unromantic types out there, one of my best friends and her hubby celebrate each Valentine's day with beer, pizza and p___n! It's sounding pretty good to me this year considering the time constraints of having 2 little ones! Sorry to all the mushy flowers and chocolate people!

what about buying a basket/box and putting in a good movie or 2 and 2 cokes or drink of your choice a couple of bags of popcorn and some candy (if you have a dollar tree they have some of the candy that you find at the movies sometimes) and after kiddies are in bed then the two of you can enjoy the "movie nite" and flower.momma as for the scavanger hunt we did that the nite of our wedding rehersal the "girls" kidnapped me and we went leaving "clues" the first was just a note that said i had been kidnapped and he needed to follow the clues to find me the first was simple go to block buster so we went and rented the movie we went to see on our first date and explained what was going on and told them who was picking it up and we put a note inside that read "germania springs bridge is falling down" (that is a local park that has a 20 ft or so bridge that crosses a little creek and that is where we kissed the first time so there on the bridge was a basket of kisses and a note that said something about going to our favorite resturant and getting our fav meal .....we had already been there and ordered and paid for our fav meal and they put the last note that read something bout the motel i was at and the guys was in on it too so they knew where to take him if he was confused but he did fine there was acouple of other stops for champane and he wanted to stop for flowers after he seen what i had done for him when he arrived i was in the room waiting and it had a red heart shaped jucuzzi in it we had a ball and we had champane choclates the movie (which wasn't watched.....not sure why haha) and our food and it was great then after midnite he went to take a shower and i snuck out and left a gla__s cindrella slipper on the bed with a note that read to my prince see you at the castle tomorrow ( the building we got married in is ,as a joke, reffered to by my hubby and others as being the "castle")and then i left so we wouldnt see each other the day of the wedding
