I was just wondering if any of you girls have a carseat or crib, ect. that you just love? We haven't bought anything yet and I just want some other moms opinions on furniture, ect. as far as quality, comfort, ect. Thanx!

Got a very nice crib whcih Kodi has slept in a total of 3 times and he is 4 1/2 months. Bouncer was a good buy and a swing did wonders and still does.

I found that buying stages furniture helps. The crib into a toddler bed, and the swing into a toddler chair. Very cost effective. Kodi loves his sea aquiruium (sp). Hopes this helps

i love the ba__sinets that have the vibrator in them and that play music.along with the bouncer.also, not really what your asking but i love this thing called kidopatamus, and you put it in your infant carrier and it just snuggles your baby in the carrier. i got it at toys r us.

I had a ba__sinet with weels on it so I could wheel Olivia around with me when I was cooking, showering etc... during the first month or so. It was great. Also they seem to really like the Fisher Price ocean wonders line of baby gear. They make a bouncer and a swing or simply the toy that you hang on the crib offers some entertainment for them. Also something I didn't have, but my cousin swore by, was a type of blanket found at babies r us specifically made for swaddling your baby so they don't wriggle out of it -my daughter was always getting out of her blankets when she was real little and waking herself up. Babies usually feel more comfy in a swaddled blanket during the first month or so.

I guess I forgot the actual question while writing my answer. We have the Graco Travelite system. It works really well and is easy to fold and unfold the stroller also we have furniture that can be converted from crib to toddler bed I hope that works out for us. I don't use my changing table as much as I thought I would I just sort of change her wherever I am ,and at about 4 months old she is getting too long for it.

Yeah, I've been looking at the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders stuff but have read that the mobile on the swing stops working fairly quickly. Has anyone used Simplicity cribs?

Katie - January 18

I just checked and my crib is Simplicity. It is a crib with the changing table attached to it -it also converts to a toddler bed. It has been working out just fine for us and was not as expensive as some others.

I absolutely love our crib. I am not sure who made it but it is wonderful! It is one that will turn into a toddler bed, and full size bed. It doesnt have the drop down side and I love that. It does not have wheels (the only bad part about it) It is beautiful and I think it 15 years it will still look beautiful. You can see pictures of it at www.amayajayne.com They are a few pages down like on the first day home from the hospital. Also I love my convertable carseat. We have the Britax Marathon and it is so worth the money! I will use it for our next child as it can be used from 5 lbs up to 65 lbs. The covers are so soft and Amaya loves the seat! I also highly recommend getting a gliding rocking chair (not really rocking, just gliding) with an ottoman. I use mine every night and my baby is 8 1/2 months old. I also (ok this is really the last one) recommend getting a baby bathtub that will last a while, we got an infant tub (which she used for like 2 months) and then had to get a seat, now we have a tub in the closet and a seat that I have to remove anytime I want to take a bath, I think that the two in one is a much better idea!

I love the style of Baby's Dream furniture. I got one of thier cribs for my daughter, they turn into toddler and full size beds. They are not cheap, though. About $500 for the one I got. My mother bought a crib for my second daughter that does the same things, but she paid about half that. The first one is much prettier, the second one is more plain. I also love my Graco stroller. It folds up and down very easily, push in one little b___ton, and the whole thing collapses. And it has cup holders, very nice for holding daquiris while strolling around waterfront Miami! It reclines all the way back, so when baby is tired she can sleep as well. I saw someone else say they did not like that stroller so much, but I always loved it.
