I don't know...but that doesn't sound right. Especially the crying part. I would call your ped.

Green poo is normal for a b___stfed baby. All three of mine went from yellow and seedy to green and runny and back again (a few times). It can depend on what you eat. Something in your diet may have irritated her, too, and maybe that's why she was crying? I don't remember mine crying when they would poo, but I'm not sure... it's been awhile. I know they would grunt, get red-faced and strain a lot... that I DO remember. Anyway, I'd call the ped to be on the safe side, but none of that sounds too out of the ordinary for a newborn because newborns are freaky LOL. But, the ped can put your mind at ease :-)

ped said both yellow and green are normal for b___stfed babies. one time when i was b___stfeeding dd she had a waterier-than-normal greener-than-normal bowel movement and was fussy and the ped said could be a touch of a stomach bug, no big deal just watch hydration. ok good luck!
