for chicken? he is 5 months old...and he LOVES it...but my mo told me he might be to young for it. he is already on stage 2 foods...(from his dr.) and they have chicken and vegetable dinners...so i gave him on last night, but now im wondering if he is to young?

If he's had it before and it doesn't affect him, go for it! He'll probably love the change in food.

As a general guideline, meats should be introduced around 8-9 months. In my personal opinion 5 months is too early to introduce meats, but then again I didn't give Abby any solids until she was 6 months, so that's just me.

well I am a first time mom and my baby is only 3mths, but in my opinion if he is not choking and had no reaction i dont see the harm. so i say go for it.

Generally yes, but you will find a lot of the stage 2 "dinners" have the meat listed to towards the end so there isn't a whole lot of it in it. :)

My ped says not meat until 6 mths of age. I don't see anything wrong w/ one month early as long as he has always done okay with other foods. It all about the digestion and as long as he's doing that I am sure he is fine.
