I am just asking because my husband and I have a lot of s_x after having our dd, but he pulls out. The doc put me on the Nuava or a something like the ring that you insert, but I hated it, it kept falling out all the time, so they said they couldn't start me on anything else until I start my next period. I just hope that in the mean time I don't get pregnant.

Your body is able to get pregnant pretty much anytime after pregnancy. And the pull out method is NOT a safe option for protection. Pretty much the whole time during intercorse he is ejaculating some sperm. Anyway they say that if you are b___st feeding...and only b___st feeding....absolutly no bottles...it is harder to get pregnant...but I DO not believe that. I am only b___st feeding and am 7 weeks pp and I have had two periods. Whether or not I have ovulated is questionable....BUT just having my period is evidence enough for me that the chance is there! There are definitly other options out there as for birth control. Ask about the mini pill....I know that is what my doctor offered and he suggested I start taking it immediatly after conceiving so it had a chance to start working.....but an answer to your question...YES you can definitly get pregnant....look at good old Britney Spears...lol....her kids are what....11 months apart??? something like that!!!!
