She's sleeping through the night!!!!! Oh wow I can't even begin to tell you how good it's been to wake up only once and that's in the morning!!! I just wanted to share my good news and to tell you ladies that it is possible for your lo's to sleep through the night it is just a full WEEK OF HELL before you can get there. And BELIEVE ME, if my dd can do it, I know yours can to. Gabriella has got to be the WORST at getting up in the middle of the night to eat or play it didn't matter. I mean I'm talkin' like 3-4 times a night. Ok adios chicas have a good day!!!!

Congrats Tanaja! My ds has just started sleeping through the night (one waking at around 5-6am) and he is 9 months! I thought i would literally collapse from sleep deprivation. Do you still wake up a couple of times during the night out of habit? Or are you back to sound sleeping? I still wake, but am hoping to get a full night of sleep soon!

how old is lo? my son use to sleep through but for the last month he wakes up alot, to play roll around, he 8 months also wondering if you did CIO, because if he doesn't start sleeping through next week were gong to do the CIO thing, also congrats on your good little sleeper!!

My dd is 9 months on the 6th and to Shannan no I still wake up maybe once or twice out of habit to look over at her crib and to listen to her breath but it's real quick and back to slumber! To Danielle19 uh......well I kind of did the CIO thing. What I did was eliminate the night feedings slowly by rocking her to sleep when she woke up and if that didn't get her to stay asleep then I would let her cry for awhile until I went in to comfort her or last resort.....feed her. This was absolute hell for me because I would go maybe 2-3 hours of no sleep in the middle of the night dealing with her. I knew that I had to be consistent otherwise all of my work would have been for nothing. So I kept it up and I just hoped that eventually she would realize that when she woke up she wouldn't get fed or rocked back to sleep. Viola! it worked, I mean I wasn't expecting it either I had planned on many more nights of doing this and she just did it one night and has kept it up. Now she still wakes up once at about 4:30 or 5am to fuss a little bit but she puts herself back to sleep in about 5 minutes so I'm not complaining. Unfortunately she still wakes up at 7am and I'm so used to it that it's no big deal, I'm just happy I wake up to a happy giggly baby girl instead of a fuss bucket!!!LOL Sweet dreams ladies and good luck

grats! we've lucked out with sleeping. She is 8 weeks old and started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks but not every night. she'd fall asleep around 11, get up at 6, sleep at 7:30 until 10:30 but she's confused now because she doesn't sleep until midnight or later but still for six hour blocks.
