ava just got on this new formula that really helped with her bowel movements and fussiness with gas. but now she as a virus and her nose has to be suctioned out every 1 or 2 hours. before she got sick she ate 3-4 oz every 3 hrs and now she wont eat but maybe 20z every 3 hrs. i dotn know if its because she is sick and just isnt hungry or what. she will fall asleep after the first oz and a half and i cannot get her to wake up to finish her meal. i am starting to really worry about wether or not she is getting enough nutrition. eveertime i have gotten her to eat more than 2oz since she was sick she spits it all back up but its not jsut spit up its vomit. i took her to the doc yesterday and he did not seem to coincerned about her lose of appitiet. can anybody help me

hmmm. i'm sure she's fine. as you may have read our family just got over the most awful stomach virus i've ever seen and naomi still isn't back up to her normal formula intake. if you just saw your pedi. i wouldn't worry. he/she didn't advise you to use pedialyte or anything like that did they? she wasn't spitting up the new formula before she got sick was she?

Have you checked into reflux at all? Or is the spitting up just a recent thing? Sorry, couldn't really tell from the post.

the sptting up only lasted day. she seems to be eating much better now as far as eating goes but she still has a horrible cold and i thinkit is setteling into her lungs i think i may have taken her to the doc before it did that now we will have to go back to make sure that she is still ok
