Lump On Breast

My dd is 8 1/2 months old and lately she has been eating alot more she prefers one side over the other so I tend to feed her on that side, this afetrnoon I noticed a sore lump on the top of my br___t. I try and feed her on both sides but she has a much better latch on the other one. any ideas on what this could be thanks. I am worried. It is sore

I bet it could be a clogged duct. Is it a bit red where the bump is? What you can do is hand express while squeezing or pushing on that bump (either that or use a pump) and it might hurt really bad but eventually you will get a stringy substance out. That is if it a clogged duct. Check your other options as well! HOpe this helps.

I would say it is a clogged duct also. I had that prob with my last b___stfed baby and it anded up turning into a b___st infection. If you start feeling like you have the flu and have a lot of pain in that b___st you'll need to go to the dr. for antibiotics. Otherwise, do as Tami said and hand express or pump that b___st to help get that duct unplugged.
