my son is almost 6 months, lately he has been crying more than usually and he puts everything in his mouth and bites it. when he drinks his bottle he just bites on the nipple. i looked and felt in his mouth but didnt see anything. if he is teething what can i do or give him to ease the pain?

I gave ds Tylenol with his first two teeth as he ran a low grade fever when he got them. He wasn't grumpy or anything just a fever then pop two teeth. Super cute

I use Hyland's teething tablets, Tylenol, frozen washclothes, and/or ice cubes. Sometimes I will freeze juice or b___stmilk in the ice cube trays, and then let her have the ice cubes. She loves them, and it has gotten to be a special "treat" for her. One thing - I strongly caution against Oragel. If the baby swallows some, it can numb the throat, and make the baby unable to swallow all that excess drool, causing the baby to gag or choke.
