Hi maymommies, this is a continuation of our discussions about our may babies...I'm glad you made it here...

Hey Kash....I made it here! Shane is talking about creating a forum for us to post to which only we May Mommies would be able to post to. It will be a typical forum type site but we can also put avatars, etc. He's going to start working on it. :)

Yo yo yo....in da house!!!! Just kidding! Just wanted to let you know I am here. OK, my child is so off her schedule since DH picked her up this afternoon thinking she was done napping. She is now alternating between laughing and fussing. HUH??? Anyway, I have her watching a cartoon right now because she just finished eating and whenever I put her in her exersaucer too soon after eating she spits up a little. I have been carrying her around since this afternoon and my back is killing me. I needed a break!

I'm hereeeeeeeeeee. Interesting weekend w/ the in-laws, but coulda been worse. Jess, make Shane get on that - I was thinking about that last night, it wouldnt be too hard to just create something. The thing I'm not a fan of on this forum is there's too much action so I bet we'll keep "losing" our thread to the 2nd or 3rd pages. Not the end of the world, I suppose though. Hope everyone had a good weekend

Oooh I just realized Hunter turned 5months old yesterday. And still not rolling back to front :(

kristine - October 1

Thanks! I'd love to talk to other mom's with babies about the same age. It's nice to see what kinds of things they are doing. My son loves to roll over and is now a tummy sleeper....can't keep him on his back! He is eating some solids, and for the most part, likes them....applesauce is the fav so far! He is just so much more enjoyable now. We had a rough first few months...not colic, but a lot of crying!! He is MUCH happier now! Can you guys fill me in on your lo's?

Hi Kristine: Well, my son Hunter isnt a true May baby - he was born April 30th, but due May 9 so I stuck with these girls. As for what he's doing: He rolls front to back (obsessively - tummy time has gone out the window), sits on his own (usually hes fine for as long as I leave him for - today he fell over and bonked his head though, poor guy), babbles a ton, reaches for everything (especially our food - loves to stick his hands in there). Still no rolling from back to front though - I wish he'd hurry up and get on that though - getting worried about that. He also eats a ton of solids (doesnt really like his bottle as much anymore but looooooves solids). He used to love sleeping - then suddenly decided he was never sleeping again... we've finally almost got nights back to normal but no clue how to get him napping normally again (only plcae he'll nap is in my arms). That's about it. Hopefully the rest of the girls find us here.

Kristine, my little one's name is Savannah and she was born May 4th. Aaaaaa, I have a sheet that I tore out of a magazine that I keep on the fridge. It shows the milestones and at this point it says that our abaies should really only be able to roll one way, so don't worry about the back to front. Savannah has only done it a few times and really spaces out when she decides to do FTB too. She's not a rolling maniac just yet. She also hates the rice cereal so I think I am going to mix it with apples this week, or should I just try the apples by themselves? OR should I try oatmeal cereal first? She gags with the rice cereal and I'm not sure if it's because she doesn't like it or if she's just not ready for solids. Any ideas ladies? Happy birthday Hunter!!!!

Oopsie....the second line is supposed to say "babies".

So, back to calling me "Aaaaaa" huh? Haha

And Tracy: I'd say try oatmeal first... and then if she doesnt like that, mix in some fruit

Hiya mommas. Welcome Kristine! :) Just called Shane and he said it will take a couple of days to propogate the registration of the forum over the internet (whatever the heck that means, lol) since he's going to bounce it off our network at home. When it's done, I'll tell you girls the domain name. It should not be blocked at work. Yippeee. Yeah, I don't like this site much either since I feel we have to go back to being "private" about our personal info, don't you agree aaaaa?? haha. It will be pretty secure. Though Kristine we'd love to have you there if you don't mind some of our crazy ramble. We've been gabbing together almost through our whole pregnancy and now into our children's first months. You will love these girls! :)

Kristine we live in Texas. We just had our first baby, Brooke, born May 15th via c-section. She was a b___terball at 9lbs 3 oz and is now 16.5 lbs. Brooke is being b___stfed for every meal except her last one where we give her some solids (rice, oatmeal, squash, sweet potatoes) and 6 oz of Similac. It's going well and she's been sleeping through the night (for the most part) since 2 months. She is cooing, raspberries, eating her toes, grabbing at everything (loves hair/earrings) and just started rolling back to front. In fact we have found her on her tummy in her crib for the last two mornings! It seems to suit her since she is still asleep at 9:00am!!! Otherwise she's a typical little girl (a little larger than most) wearing 6-9 mos. onesies.

Ahh.. the thing I did like about this site. No word limit, but man now it's easy to ramble away. Andrea, I wouldn't worry about the BTF. Like Trac said it's more of a 6 mos milestone according to my doctor as well. Brooke will not do FTB anymore though she was doing it for like a day. It's weird with these babies. Hunter's got his lion's share of awesome skills. Can't wait to hear about your in-laws trip. Tracy, Brooke is spitting up a little too after eating. I have to keep her upright for at least 30 minutes. It's the slobber though...Ugh the slobber is just flowing!! Well, I'm home today since the doctor wants me to take it easy from Friday's thing. Feel fine though. Girls check FB sometime today.

Man I seriously cant believe all of you ladies and your 6-9m clothes for your babies. Hunter seriously JUST started wearing 3-6m stuff like.. I dunno, a week ago or so? And, its only a FEW things that actually fit him, most of his 3-6 stuff is way too big! He's wearing a 3-6 onesie right now that he is SWIMMING in. He still has some 0-3 month stuff!
