My little girl is 11 weeks old, she has had a cold since last Tuesday. Does any one have any suggestions on what I can give her to make her more comfortable?

My dd is 15 weeks old and has had a cold for the last few weeks...the only thing the ped said we're allowed to do was to use saline drops in her nose ("Little Noses") and put a humidifier in her nose to keep her boogers soft. We also use the bulb aspirator to get some of the boogers out if she's calm so that she can eat better. Hope that helps. It's hard not to be able to do more to make them feel better!!!

Oh, it is so sad when they are sick! I would take her in the bathroom with you when you shower too and put a pillow under her mattress so it lifts her head up a bit when she sleeps to help her breath easier. Also if she is rally fussy and your dr says it is ok You might want to give her a little tylenol to ease her discomfort. I dont know if 11 wks is too little but I bought baby vapor bath for my dd when she had a bad cold and it really soothed her and helped her sleep. Good luck!

I second what ry said, those vapor baths are awesome---if you have any Vick's or other menthol based products you can poor a really hot bath, throw a table spoon size in their and then just sit with her in the bathroom...
