Just curious as to what all your nap schedules are for you lo???

Haha! Did you say "nap" and "schedule" in the same sentence? My 15-week-old doesn't have one. He naps whenever he's tired pretty much. The only one that i know to be consistent is the morning one, not too long after he wakes up in the AM. But wake-up time differs each morning. How old is your child and do you have a schedule?

My lo is 7.5 months old. He wakes at 7am, naps at 9am, naps somewhere between 12-1pm, and then sometimes a 3rd a shorter nap at 4-4:30pm. He is in bed at 7pm.

My ds is almost 15 wks and has been on a nap schedule for a while. It's not rigid of course but he has at least 3 a day (when he was younger it was 4). He naps 9-10, 12-1, and long afternoon nap 3-530. He goes to bed at 8pm.

I read today that they should be having 3 naps a day that are around 1 to 1.5 hours long. I am going to try and get Liam on a nap schedule because he seems to nap around 9:00am, 12:00pm and around 2:30pm, 3:00pm. They say to make a nap diary to see when the baby is most likely to nap and then start them on a schedule where they nap at home as opposed to in their strollers or the car.

The best thing for me and napping was to have a mini routine down. We would play for a while, then when it was close to nap time, I would nurse and read to him w/ the shades closed in the room. He got so used to his schedule that now at 1130 he gets groogy and will fall asleep in his crib.
