Not Feeling Well

Everyone in my house has had this upper respiratory thing. I got it as well only I started losing my voice last night and this morning it was GONE! My throat is slightly sore, a little congestion remaining and a cough. I'm figuring it's laryngitis which I've never had. If anyone else has had it and has any suggestions on how to speed recovery I do appreciate it. I know not to talk (yeah, right!) what else?

Yeah, pretty much the only thing you can do is rest your voice as much as possible and gargle with a weak salt water solution.

I hope you feel better soon. Hot water with a little honey helps my sore throat, but not the not being able to talk part. I hate when I can't yell at my kids lol jk!!! No, but seriously I do yell up the stairs to tell them to come down to eat, etc... and I hate when I have to run all over the house trying to catch them to tell them what I need to tell them!

Hey Rabbits---sorry your not feeling well....not sure how to help but my sister sees a holistic doctor and when she has a cold, he gets rid of it for her within a 24-48 hour period, oh ,and that laryngitis makes your voice sound s_xy......hehe

I've always heard to gargle with warm salt water. I hate when that happens! My girls are sick too. I could use a valium I think!! LOL!!
