Not Real Interested In Solids

Hi ladies, my dd is a few days away from being 5 months and I've been feeding her solids for a few weeks now since her ped said to do it at her 4 month visit. So far, she's not all that interested in them and just reluctantly tries them. I've given her the single grain cereals and carrots and squash and tried peaches today and she really squirmed at the tartness of the peaches...it was so cute! Anyway, I was wondering what your experience was and when your lo really started eating the solids and liking them? She does love her formula a whole lot and she's a good eater when it comes to her bottles but not with solids yet. Thanks in advance..:)

We started our dd at 5 months. She is now 6 1/2 months and still isnt all that interested. The ped says that this is ok, nothing to worry about...t just takes time. hello thanks for the info. Maybe my dd will start to enjoy them in a few weeks.
