The last thread was getting rather long so thought I would start a new one. Mary how is br___tfeeding going? I know you were having a lot of trouble with it. How heavy are your little ones now? I'm taking Ben down tomorrow to get him weighed. Haven't had him done since his 6 week check with the holidays and everything. I think he will be close to a stone now.

Hi Lesley, my Johnny was born Oct12, 2 weeks early and was 5 lbs and 8 oz when we were discharged from hospital. At two month well child visit he was 11 lbs and 11 oz. I am going for 3 month check up next week ..can not wait to see how much he gained and how much grew ! I am nursing only and I love it! He is smiling, laughing, cooing, squealing, hates tummy time but can lift his head good .

Hey! My lil one has not been weighed since Dec 12 at his 2 mth appt. He was 14lb 1oz at birth 7lb 7oz. I say he loves my b___st milk!!!!!!!!

I thought I am the only one who does not weigh her precious one at home! Was thinking to buy some special scale for my little to track his progress....but I have changed my mind seeing that no one really does it. Barb, I guess my little one started to gain quickly to catch up on bigger babies...he was really tiny when he was born. I had at least very easy delivery...just 6 hours totaly (natural v____al delivery). My pediatrician told me they want to see baby gain about two lbs/month..so Trinity is right on the track!

yeah, i kinda wish i had a scale. isabelle weighed 11 lbs at her 2 month appointment so now i'm curious what she weighs now, i'm betting 12 lbs. i think she needs to go up a diaper size. practically every time she goes number 2 it ends up shooting up her back but we have sooo many size 1s cuz we bought them at Sam's Club.....yesterday was a small nightmare for me because my dh (as in DUMB husband). he kept interrupting her morning and afternoon naps!!! he'd be like "oh, she's so cute" and touch her orsomething and she'd startle awake. and then she'd get tired and start being fussy so she'd cry while i was trying to get her settled down and then he'd pick her up!!! she ended up being so overtired and cranky she cried for hours. i was snapping his head off ready to KILL, i swear. god, what a dummy.

I hope so Silvie... =)

haha...sounds like my husband Shannon! He'll come home from work and wake her up...I know he misses her, but geezz... then she gets fussy.

sorry for b___ting in but I had to comment. LOL Shannon that sounds like my sister. She can't have children so she always likes to wake Camdyn (Oct.4th) up. I try not to go over unless he's in a great mood. My little peanut at birth weighed 6lbs 6.5oz. At 2 months he weighed 10lbs 11 1/4 oz. He's quite tiny, lol. K I'll get out of your thread now just wanted to share, lol. :)

Hey Silvie :-) My youngest son Ben was supposed to be a October baby but he didn't come till 7th November. But cos I posted in October moms section on the 3rd trimester board I know all the October moms better than the November ones. He was 15 days late, but once I was in labour he couldn't wait to get out. 2 and a half hour labour, with only 9 mins of pushing. He is my 3rd child though. I'm having to take him up to a size 3 nappy soon. I have 1 and a half packs of size 2 left to go. He is growing really fast. He is in 3-6 clothes already! Can't believe he is 8 weeks already, the time has just flew by.

jaz at 8 weeks (last thur) was 9.14 she was 7.14 at birth, my dh is depressed and doing nothing at home just waiting for a job to come knocking at the door!

xXx-Lesley-xXx - January 2

Hows things between you and him now Lisa?

Silvie - January 2

Wow!!!Lesley ...it was a real "quickie" labor and delivery with your son Ben!!! ...Husbands- I do not let my dear one to wake up our little one anymore b/c my hubby did it a few times before and little Johnny got really upset and cranky. Who needs sleepless night, ....right? Especially when my dh is not a big fan of night babysitting:-)) Fortunately our baby can sleep now 5-6 hours at night without waking up. But first few weeks were really rough, I was up every 2-2.5 hours.

John doesn't wake the kids up and never has. Even when he only came home weekends he never. I don't think he is a baby person, prefers them when they get a bit older and do more things. Mind he does change a lot of nappies. He has started to bath Ben now and again. He has never bathed the other 2 till they were a little bit older. My 2nd labour was a lot quicker than me 3rd Silvie! It was a whole 42 mins :-) Vaginal birth too. My 1st was 16 and a half hours though.

Hey :) A new thread and a question for me. Breastfeeding is practically history I am feeding once per day now or even less. When my b___sts feel full I bf to empty them. I think I just had me last bf session. I do not feel that my b___bs are getting any more milk this time. My little one is very heavy as I get cramps on my arms by holding him too long :) I will know on January 8 (his 2 month appt) how much he has gained. He is eating 6 oz of formula every 5 or 6 hours and he is constipated a bit more now as he is not getting any b___st milk almost. How are you and all the other October girls?

Justine - January 2

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a good New Year. I'm in Paris the moment for New Year at my inlaws. Sophie is doing fine but still tiny at 8 pounds 13.
