Yes this is so sad.One of my bestfriends sisters has ALS and she is now wheelchair bound and cannot speak or anything. She is always on oxygen as well. Although that article says the expectancy to die is 2-5 years she has had it way longer than that. I say about 10 or so years maybe longer. We do a charity walk every year called walk for als. Its really awesome and a lot of people come to support there loved ones who have als or who have had it and has pa__sed. Before the walk starts people from the families go on stage and tell everyone about there loved one and you just cant help but cry.
