OT 1 Birthday Games

Hello, I was just wondering what you all think about this idea for a first birthday party. There will be 5 children at my dd's party - 4, 3, 2, and two at 5 months old. At my dd playgroup we made hand prints in clay - I thought since there are only 5 children - 3 that can run - it is totally duable to have something like that to do - then they can bring that home with them as a partyfavor. I don't want to have a game of any kind since they are so small, and they are so developmentally different at this point. What do you all think? And/or do you have any other ideas....

That's an excellent idea! They have a keepsake to take home and it isn't too messy. My ds is almost 14 months old and does alot of fun activities at day care. Painting, singing songs, dancing. I'd go with your idea, because the kids are all at a different age level, the older ones will enjoy it too.

My son did a hand print and it was set in a pie plate to harden in the oven.

Thank you guys - I have never done anything like this before, and just needed some encouragement! Lisastar9 the pie plate is a great idea, thanks.
