I remember some of you guys saying you played softball. We signed my dd up and needed to get her a good glove. Is there really a difference between a softball and a baseball glove? She's 7.

Asoftball glove has a bigger pocket than a baseball glove.

ditto...a softball glove is different than a baseball glove. The bats are as well if your planning on getter her one also. I cant wait for my dd to be old enough to play. She's only 5 mos, so I have a while to go yet. Hope your little one has fun :-)

What the others said ;-) I have a funny story about when I played softball. My friend (and roomie) and I were on a fast pitch softball team through our church. We also worked at the same place. Well, she had a team picture on her desk and a guy that worked with us asked what it was. She said, "It's our fast pitch softball team." She said he just kind of laughed nervously and walked away. She later found out through another employee that he had talked to, that he thought she said it was a picture of her fat bi*ch softball team LOL!!!!

Softb___s are bigger than baseb___s so I'd suggest a softball glove.
