I have pcos and because of it I got really fat then I went on metaforman and lost 120 pounds then I went off the med but didn't gain any of the weight back I think because my boyfriend at the time and I would run every evening for about an hour. Well I got pregnant and tried keeping up the running alone it was kind of hard and did good until my 6 months of pregnancy and it helped me I only at that time gained about 15 pounds but then the last three months I didn't run or do anything and gained 35 pounds for a total of 50 pounds, I lost 15 pounds at birth but since the baby has come I have not only not lost weight but gain 10 more back, he is now 5 months and I walk everyday (only around the block) and dont really eat the wrong foods, I feel like I need a jump start again but I don't want to go back on the meds because I am br___tfeeding. I know my dr said it wont affect him but I believe that everything that you take goes in the br___t milk and I dont want him getting any of my meds...so beside meds do you guys have any suggestions on losing the weight. I am so depressed. My mom keeps asking me if I want to go out after my lo is asleep so I can find mr right but I feel so unattractive I really dont want to meet anyone though I miss having a relationship.

i din"t join anything what i need is i went out and bought this really nice outfit that i am determined to fit into and i look at everyday well i tried it on the other day it almost fits a bit tight yet so i am almost down 4 sizes i am telling you it made me feel good inside another thing that i use that i find really helpful is i use fitday online food diary to track my diet it is great it really helps you know how many calories you are eating after all if you start by just elimating just 250 calories a day you will lose a pound every two weeks or you could go for elminating 500 calories a day and lose a pound a week but mind you you need to determine how many calories you just to maintain your weight and function. On active days, you'll need more calories, so it's okay to eat a little more than you would on an average day. But on more sedentary days, you may want to reduce your calorie intake. If you want to lose weight, try to stay below your calorie needs or increase your activity level. However, make sure you are eating nutritious meals and not restricting your calories too much — eating too little or losing weight rapidly can be unhealthy and dangerous. this is a good site to figure your Bmr w w w. inch -aweigh dot com
