My dh's bday is next Wed. Any ideas what I could get him? Nothing too expensive! ;)

well what is he into? model cars? fishing? a hobby of some sort??

I usually get him something with the baseball & football teams that he likes but I wanted something different. He's got tons of tools so he doesn't need any of that.

well does he like cars? maybe you can get him into a new hobby by buying him a model car kit or something, get one of his favortie car...or go to a like a local radioshack (sorry hubby works there i know alot about them) and get him a Zip Zap xar or an xmod, maybe or a hobby shpe and get him a rocket kit, if you have an open field near you, he could build his own toy rocket and go and shoot them off....hope this helps....

My dh says a man can NEVER have too many tools....lol.

LOL Rabbits! Between toys & tools we're going to need a bigger house for sure! lol

why not get a big gift bag or box and fill it with his favourite things? Like a mini aftershave, a wee box of his favourite chocolates, a packet of his favourite crisps, favourite magazine or book by aan author he likes...things like that. I'm going to do this for my dh for valentines day as money is a wee bit tight this yr.

That's a good idea Vonzo. I'm looking over these suggestions, too. We're usually really low-key about gifts, but my dh's 40th is this year and I'm planning a big party and want to get him something special.

well if ur planning a big party for him, why not just get him a gift voucher/certificate or whatever you call them? i know dh usually appreciates a voucher more as he can get what ever he wants for himself without worrying about crudy gifts. i know he wants alot of thing from a car place so this year, i am going to ask everyone to get him a voucher for that store...then he can get something big and expensive, hope that helps.

also, on the side, there is a place near by that prints anything on tshirts, so i am having his favorite saying printed on it.

I don't know where you live or what teams you have or anything, but if he's really into sports I suppose instead of getting him memoribilia you could get him tickets to a game for both of you or something. That way you'd get a date night out of it too=)
