Today when my milk lets down it is very painfull on one side. It always feels weird (like pins and needles coming from under my arm to the back of my nipple) But now it hurts really bad on one side under my arm. I can feel a couple of knots but its way up under my arm I thought it was a lymph node...could it be a clogged duct? I have tried heat, nursing positions and rubbing it while I pump. Anybody have this before?! Thank you....Sorry Im the anoying new parent!:)

Sounds like a clogged duct...perhaps mast_tis (b___st infection). If you don't feel like a large ton truck has hit you, backed over you and then parked on your b___b and you aren't running a fever then it is probably only a clogged duct (or 2) The heat and ma__sage should help....you may not notice an immediate difference but keep up with it and it will help. Whatever you do DON"T refrain form nursing on that side...it will only make things worse. If you begin to feel as I first stated and run a fever then you are most likely dealing with mast_tis. I've had it twice and you really feel like you have the flu. In that case call your dr. as you would need antibiotics for a b___st infection. The ma__sage and compresses will still be helpful inmast_tis as well.

Wow, Rabbits...I wrote this before I went to bed last night. I had the chills and maybe a slight fever and started to feel like I was getting sick....What doctor do you go to OB or general?

Sorry so late...I've been at work all day. I seen my OB both times that I had it.
