Joel is 9 1/2 months old. I just got him out of sleeping with Dh and I. I never did that with my girls, but it just seemed so naturally that Joel would sleep with us.....until he started kicking in his sleep.lol. I can't get him to sleep through the night, not even once. He is still up at least once to eat and the rest of the time I find myself running up and down the stairs to stick his soother in to calm him. I so want to get some sleep. I can't let him cry for too long because my girls are upstairs too. One is in the same room as him. They are older and believe me they need their sleep. What do I do? Please help. He is eating rice cereal fro breakfast and then cereal and either a vegie or fruit. Any ideas?

The age old question... Sorry - Jadon is 11 months and still has nights where he will wake up. Not as many now (thank God!!!). But what I did was put 5 binkies in his crib so when he woke up he would find one himself. That worked sometimes. I stopped feeding him in the middle of the night at about 6 months. When he would wake up, I would change his diaper (usually soaked) and get him comfortable and put him back to sleep. After a while he knew he wasn't going to get fed and started sleeping though. The nights he would wake up - I just changed his diaper, get him comfortable, pop a binkie in his mouth and he would go right out. Are you still feeding him a bottle before bed? I am still doing that and it seems to keep him full.

Hi - February 26

My 8 month old used to wake alot.I add rice cereal to his last nightly bottle b4 bed.It doesn't make him sleep through the night but now he only wakes up once.He was waking up like 3-4 times. If you get stage 2 nipples or fast flow nipples they work really well .Good Luck.
