should their poo change? my ds 's bm's were yellowish when on just formula, a little soft but formed now that he has started cereal it has changed. i know they will change but how can you tell if it's not agreeing with them? when he was on rice he got very constipated but it was the same color, then on oatmeal he got a little softer but brown, i just tried him yesterday for the first time on the barley and yesterday and this morning it was very loose/soft and brown with yellow curdy things in it? is that a reaction or normal?

I did lin....my dd has been on solids for about 1 /12 months now. I didnt notice too much of a difference until we started veggies. The oatmeal and barley loosen her up a bit but with the carrots...oh boy, her poop turns a little orange like carrots (yuck). Its totally normal for the poop to change though. I've heard if they have a reaction they will get red in the face and hands and maybe a rash. You'll know. Hope this helps

My dd's poo is a rainbow of colors and a wide a__sortment of smells :) It changes with each food, although now that she is on more food instead of formula it is getting more solid. Every time I change I diaper it is a new suprise :) (I need more sleep, I am getting wacky)

my dd's really has not changed but she does not go as often and it's hard. We even give her oatmeal to try and help with the constipation but it's not really helping. She eats all her veggies and fruits and that still doesn't help either. We even give her juice once a day. It just all depends. I got my dd the mixed grain cereal do you think that will be ok for her, she is 7.5 months old?

when my lo's poo started to get too hard, and she was straining to go, I started adding a little prunes in her oatmeal at breakfast, now she is good to "go".
