Question About Feeding Solids

So we had our 5 month check up yesterday, and everything was great. DD is right on track with everything developmentally and she's big. 20lbs 27 in long (I'm so proud of her) and the ped gave the go ahead for veggies & fruit. She has been on cereal for a month and loves it. I usually give her 1-2 taplespoons of cereal mixed with formula 2 times a day. My question is, how much of the fruits and veggies to you give at a time. I know the doctor said it, but I cant for the life of me remember what he said (baby brain). Also, he told me at night to give veggies or fruit, cereal and a bottle. This seems like a lot to me. Has anyone else's ped told them to do this?

we just had our 4 month appt on monday and the ped told us that she wants him on cereal 3 times a day as he is 18.5 lbs and 26 1/4 inches long as he was eating 40-50 oz a day. We were giving him cereal 1 hr before bed the past 2 weeks and now we have to do it 3 times as she wants him eating about 35 oz a day. Then she said at 5 months to start veggies and tehn after 6 months to do fruit. but first doo veggies, all of them one at a time starting with the orange ones, then green as they are more ga__sy. she said to start with a few teaspoons at each meal with his cereal, to get him used to it and see if he has any reactions.
