ok, I've been looking all over the internet and I can't seem to find an answer for my question so maybe someone can help me here. I have a 13 month old mulatto baby and his thighs and upper arms get really dry and bumpy and sometimes start scabbing. I was wondering if there is some type of lotion I can get thats made specifically for his skin? And his hair is starting to get coarse and frizzy...what can I use for that?

hey im mixed with blk and white so i no where your comming from with the skin u need just a good dry skin lotion i dont think that has anything to do with his race but just try some dry skin lotion and his hair there is nothing to do with lol maybe some pink lotion its in the african american hair product hair aisle and its really good but just get ready for a shock with his frizzy hair my only other advice is to just cut it short lol good luck and if you need any other advice you can email me at monicaweiner23/yahoo

It sounds like he has eczema I get it on my upper arms in the winter, and I am not mixed race, it happens to me every winter. My husband has psoriasis and that gets scabby and bleeds. If it gets worse you may want to take him to a doctor, I would try to get a good lotion for extremely dry skin, we use Nature's Gate Skin Therapy for dry skin, I've used it for years and buy the stuff by the gallon because it's a little spendy. It works for our family.
