Question About Night Time Routine

I normally feed DD (4.5 months) dinner when we get home, and then we change into jammies, then nurse to sleep. My problem is sometimes she's just too tired and fussy to eat since we don't get home til 7:30-8. I was thinking of feeding her dinner at my grandma's before I leave to go home (the ride is about 45 minutes) so I can make sure she gets her dinner in. Will breaking up her routine like that screw up her night time schedule? On teh weekends it'll be dinner, jammies, milk, sleep. But weekdays it would be dinner, car ride, jammies, milk, sleep. Do you think this would be a problem? Should I leave things the way they are?

I would say feed her before you get in the car, it sounds like she is really hungry, that's a long time to wait for food for a baby since their tummys are so small. I would say since the putting on the jammies, milk and sleep aren't going to change it will be fine. The milk is probably what soothes her anyway and signals her that it is bed time.
