Question About Spotting Postpartum

Okay let's see if I can do a quick run through: I started my first post partum period January 17th. I ended about the 21st-22nd. I had an oopsie on the 29th, and checked to see if I had all the classic signs of ovulation (My cycles are an average of 28-29 days) which I did. I was certain I was ovulating on the twenty ninth. On the 6th of feb. I had some dark red spotting, kind of brownish rusty reddish,:) It lasted into the seventh, a very light scanty bleed. I didn't even have to wear a pad. It's done now, no more spotting as of the 7th. I have wondered if I possibly fell pregnant again (hpt was bfn today) I sure I hope I didn't! SO that brings me to my question, could that have been IB or is it possible to have spotting post partum ( I am about 10 to 11 weeks post partum) I have never spotted between cycles, except when I was pg with my daughter, but that spotting only lasted a day.

I never had any spotting in between periods before until having my dd. I am 6 months pp and I have mid cycle bleeding every month. So I guess it could be your hormones messing with you still but you did have the "oopsie" real close to when most women would have ovulated. Ib is rare but some women do get it, if it was IB you should get a positive test in a couple of days. Hcg starts to be produced after implantation takes place. Good Luck and I hope you get the answer you want!

That's possible!:) I have only had negative hpts, yesterday was the last time I took one. I have figured I am not, even though my period is not due for about one to two more days. I figure if it doesn't show by the 18th I'll try another hpt. But if it starts then yay!!
