how do I know if my baby has this?

Mine had it and he threw up all the time. Sometimes I wondered how he was getting so fat because it seemed everything came up. I never got him diagnosed but from what I hear, that was his problem. Try either thickening his cereal with rice (only a little) or try the Enfamil A.R. LIPIL which I just started on and really liked.

My son throws up almost all the time. Sometimes it looks clabbered (like chunks like cottage cheese) and sometimes it comes out smooth. It isn't just a little bit dribbling out of the corner of his mouth either. It's like taking a half cup or so of regular milk and dumping it out. He's so chubby but it doesn't seem like he should be as much as he spits up. He's b___stfed. My other kids didn't spit up like he does. I'm going to ask about it at his dr. app.

Ask the doctor about Pyloric Stenosis. The test is a simple sonogram, unfortunatly, the fix is surgery, but my son was only in the hospital over night and has not thrown up since. He spits up, but does not throw up any more and that was 4 months ago.

My son would arch his back after feedings, spit up a lot, resist being burped, and draw his legs up in pain. You could also hear the acid and stomach contents bubbling up his esophogus. He is on Pepcid and it really helps. I actually took him off of it for a week two weeks ago and he got really bad, so he is back on it. I would take your baby to the doctor for a definitive diagnosis.

Christy, why did you take him off the pepcid? just wondering.
