Just wondering if anyone has noticed their child getting a runny (or stuffy) nose when they are teething?

Hi Erin, my 4 month old is the same way.. Hopefully its just teething and no cold.

my daughter always got a runny nose, slight fever and runny bowl movements when she was teething. she didn;t really cry about it so this was the only way i really knew she was teething. so good luck and don't worry. babies are like adults unless the mucus is colored then it is probably just teething.

Big relief. She didn't have this when she got her first two teeth, so that's why I wa a little worried. She's had a runny nose for about a week, but no other signs of a cold. I was beginning to think that she had allergies, but her cheeks were bright red last night, so I'm pretty sure she's getting those top teeth. Thanks everyone for your answers!
