She Did It SOOO Proud

I have been working with my dd (9 months) for a couple of weeks now, teaching her the sign language sign for "more." I would say the word to her and do the sign. She started flapping her arms / hands a week or so ago, which I figured was her attempt at it. Then, recently, she would touch her hands together. Then today at lunch, she signed "more" ALL ON HER OWN, without ANY prompting from me at all! I couldn't believe it!! I am so proud of her!

That is so great! We got a book on baby sign language for Christmas but I think Gretchen's still too young to start. When did you start trying to teach your lo??

I started at about 8 months.... What is your book called? I might look into getting a baby-sign book because I only know a few signs.
