ok, so my ds is 7 months old, and spring has most definetely started. For now I have clothes for him, but I definetely have toget ready for the summer which is very hot in my country. I need to start from scratch because I dont have anything... so I have to buy summer undershirts, pj's/babygrows, socks, clothes... how many of what do I need? I also want to get cheaper stuff for the day care because I dont wnat to send him in good stuff... I also dont want to buy loads of stuff, because thats what I did in the winter, and I ended up wasting lots of money on clothes he never wore... can anyone help?

My son was that age last summer and the best thing I bought him was rompers. They are just the once piece outfits that snap and I loved them. They are easy to put on, they are very light weight so they do not make them hot. They make so many of them and they are all so cute. I didn't think they were that expensive...like $10-13 but that is for a whole outfit. Sometimes you can get them on sale for like $5. Also I bought jean shorts because they go with everything.

I agree. Onesies are my best friend! Little sandals are the best shoes, so socks aren't necessary. I would definately go with the minimal approach. You'll find that as it gets hotter, you and he will find his favorite thing to wear and you'll wash the hound out of it! Me personally, I've got onesies, a few rompers and a couple of hand me down swimsuits. I'm going to get her little sandals when it gets warmer, and a few pairs of cotton shorts and that's probably all we'll need. Good luck!
