Sick Baby

I am getting over a cold that knocked me on my rear for 2 days. Mine wasa fever, cough and stuffy nose. I was terrified that I was going to give it to my 14 week old dd. She seemed fine up until yesterday (in my opinion!). Normally she sleeps through the nights (8:30pm to 5 or 6am). Well, yesterday she conked out at 4:30 in the afternoon. She was done for the night. I woke up to her at about 2am, put her pacifier in her mouth and she fall back asleep. The same thing happened at 4:30am. I made her a bottle and kind of woke her up shortly thereafter. She took it and fell back asleep. She is still sleeping now. I took her temp just now (7:30am) and it seems fine, but she seems a little warm. She sounds like she has a bunch of boogers in her nose (i did get some out). Am I being paranoid that she is sick? The dr office opens in 1/2 hour, I will call then, but I just wanted to know what you gals thought.

If she has no temp, and is drinking etc, I am sure she is fine. Babies can get congested even without being sick. She may have a bit of a cold, or the startings of a cold. Keep an ete on her, and her temp, but for now she sounds fine. I would try some saline drops and to suction her noes if she seems to congested though :)

Thanks for the info. She just got up, doesn't seem interested in eating. That is fine, it has only been 3 hours. She is smiley and cooing and squealing. I am glad to see it/hear it. I will be sure to keep an eye on her though. Thanks again.
