Sleeping Face Down

my 8 mo. old who is now crawling all over and pulling herself up on things likes to sleep with her face almost burried in the matress. They say that once they are big enough to hold up their head and roll over they should be fine. But I am worried about her getting to much Carbon Dioxide. She also likes to put her arm over the part of her face that is up. Should I move her or just let her sleep?

My 5 month old does the same thing. She only doesn't bury her face if it's completely dark in the room.

My 7-month old is the same - he rolls over and out of the blankets as soon as he hits the mattress, and either bunches the blanket up to put his face against, or pushes his face into the mattress. I asked the clinic nurse about it yesterday as it stresses us out, but she said that there is nothing you can do and not to worry about it. While I am awake I keep turning him on to his back ,but come morning he is right back on his stomach!
