Sleeping Thru The Night Eating Enough During The Day

For those who know me, you know how obsessed I am with making sure my 4-month-old DS eats enough. The last 2 nights he slept 10 and 11 hours, respectively. II think it's b/c he just learned to roll onto his tummy and sleeping that way is much more comfy.) I know babies should be eating a certain # of ounces each day, but I don't think he's eating enough. He usually has 5 bottles a day, each at 5.5 ounces, which equals 27.5 ounces. However, the last 2 days, he's only had "time" eat 4 bottles, which is only 22 ounces. I think he weighs 12 pounds, which means he should be eating 30 ounces. My question is this: how am I supposed to get him to eat more than 4 or 5 bottles a day?? He doesn't even necessarily finish the bottles I give him... Hit me with your suggestions or questions!

I started having that problem when my ds was 6 months old. He just wasn't interested in the bottle and I often felt like I was forcing him to drink. I asked several nurses for their advice and they told me not to worry...that as long as he's meeting all his developmental milestones then he is getting all the nutrition he needs. They WILL eat when they are hungry. It's very hard not to worry though. The phase will pa__s.
