Every baby is different. My daughter is 9 months old, and just cut her first 2 teeth this past week. I think it might be a little hereditary, since my DH cut his first teeth at 7 months and I cut my first teeth at 11 months - DD is right between us. So maybe look at that to get an idea of when your baby will.

All of my children were around 13 months when they cut their first teeth, but it does vary from baby to baby. My mom said I didn't cut my first teeth until after 1 year so genes may have something to do with it. I've known people with babies who started cutting teeth as early as 4 months and have heard of them doing it at 2 months.

my son cut his first tooth at 3 months and 2 weeks later cut the second........my baby girl cut her first at 4 months and the second 2 weeks later and now she is 5 months and 3 weeks and her top one is about to break through the gum........my husband (my daughters father) was talking to his g'mother one day and mentioned that baby girl was teething (...this was when she was 2 1/2 months old and this is his first baby so all he knew was i said "she is teething "and he believed me ) any way his grand mother had a fit told him he was crazy that a 2 1/2 mo old couldn't have teeth and i didn't know what i was talking about.....i was so proud when that tooth came through the gum i made a special trip almost 20 miles to her house to let her feel of the tooth that her crazy g'daughter in law knew nothing about.............
